Marie Calvert-Kilbane, the Assistant Director of Member Services, is the contact person for FLIP (the special fire and liability insurance plan for HDFCs), UHAB Fuel, and other energy programs. Prior to her current position, she was a field coordinator for Upper Manhattan and can answer general questions on governance, elections, and other leadership and management issues.

 

Yolanda Rivera, a long-term UHAB-er, is now on our Co-op Preservation team. She helps buildings with loan packaging and applying for 8A Loans from HPD. Prior to this position, she was a member of the TIL/HDFC Technical Assistance team serving buildings mostly based in the Bronx.
 

Arneudis Estevez, with UHAB Member Services, is a point person for our
Co-op Accounting team. He can answer your questions on bookkeeping services, corporate taxes, and UHAB's Connected Book$ accounting services.

 
Teri Hagan has worked for many years in UHAB's legal department and serves as a lead point person behind Market & Match -- the program that helps HDFCs effectively market their buildings' vacant apartments to income-eligible, community-minded residents. Teri can address questions about credit reports, application packages for purchasing co-ops, and general information about sales.

Fabio Eugenio is the lead associate for UHAB's Connected Book$ accounting program. He is available to answer questions on bookkeeping, UHAB's co-op accounting services, and troubleshooting for Connected Book$.

Yael Shafritz is the Resident Liaison on the Member Services team this year at UHAB and has extensive experience in answering questions on HPD's new regulatory agreement draft and general governance, management, and maintenance issues. Yael is also the lead organizer of UHAB's Shareholders Forum, a space for HDFC residents to come brainstorm about ways to resolve HDFC problems and learn from each other about best practices.

 

Ann Henderson has worked for UHAB for more than 30 years. She can answer general questions on HDFC co-op governance, management, and maintenance, loan packaging (both for tax arrears and HPD's 8A Loan program for capital improvements), and J-51 and other tax abatements.

Marina Metalios is UHAB's Director of Training and Special Projects. She has many years of experience working with co-ops during and after their conversions from troubled rentals. Marina can address a wide range of questions, from co-op governance and shareholder training to tackling issues around distressed HDFCs and building violations.
